Love Is In The Air
My slacker owner is running behind again this month and so asked me to fill in for the newsletter. Just to let you know that the food around here is terrible and with his incessant singing all hours of the day and night it’s impossible to get any sleep. If one of you could bring it to his attention (maybe an intervention is in order) I would certainly appreciate it.
I wanted to share some thoughts from my vast experience this last 9 months of existence.
Thank You - Eyeglass Support
In November 2007 the Chambersburg Noontime Lions provided 17 eyeglasses and 7 exams to individuals in our community who needed assistance. Here's one of the Thank You cards we received.

Strategic Self-Analysis
Plato is credited with the quote "The unanalyzed life is not worth living" and with January 1 just around the corner it's the perfect time to look at where we've been and in so doing plan for an even greater 2008. Here's a few questions to get you started.
1. What accomplishments are you most proud of and why? Make a mental list of your accomplishments in 2007 and pick the one or two that you're most proud of - it may be one that nobody else even noticed.

Practice Makes Perfect... NOPE!
Many of you know that I belong to a semi-professional chorus in Frederick, MD (I call it semi-pro because we charge for gigs but the money goes to charity). We are an auditioned chorus to ensure that we maintain a consistent quality level and I'm one of the section leaders so - I get to judge the new guys wanting to get in.
Fall Service Project - September 29, 2007
The painting project for South Central Community Action Program (SCCAP) was a great success! Thanks to all who participated - Lion John Nogle, Lion Todd Bard, Lion Jim Fegan and Jim's son-in-law Adam Anderson. I was also there providing entertainment (and a little painting).
Thank You - Diabetes Bowl-a-thon
King Lion John & members of the Chambersburg Noon Lions Club,
Thank you for your donation to the district project, the diabetes Bowl-a-thon. With your help, we will help many individuals in our communities to understand and better cope with diabetes.
Your support of this project is appreciated.

I want it all and I want it now! - Queen 1989
I'm selfish... been that way since I was a small child. I've heard stories of me getting upset when someone else played with my toys - I'd cry and want them back.

Greater Results? ... Better Habits!
"The best predictor of future results is past behavior." In the insurance industry we have very complex calculations that work out this premise to the most minute detail-however the premise is still just that simple... If you've driven like an idiot all your life, we're going to charge you more for insurance because chances are, you're going to continue to drive like an idiot-thus the greater chance of an accident.
